The CURE Water Damage can trace its beginnings back to the early 1980's, when the founder started a carpet cleaning company in Northern California out of his home. As the carpet cleaning business grew it soon relocated from a residential home to a large commercial building. Within a few years it was one of the largest carpet cleaning companies in Northern California , with up to 50 service vans running.

Having detected a need and an opportunity in the marketplace, the company ventured into the water damage restoration business. The first CURE Water Damage business was founded in Northern California in 1988. As the demand for these specialized services increased, the company eventually eased out of the carpet cleaning business and focused strictly on water damage restoration. It also grew to become one of the largest water damage restoration companies throughout the greater Bay Area.

In the early 90's the company decided to expand into another State and opened another water damage office in Seattle , Washington. In no time at all the CURE Water Damage became the largest water damage company in Washington . As friends, family and business associates saw the company quickly grow, they inquired about opening water damage offices themselves.

Exploring the options for further expansion, the company began franchising in 2002 and Seattle became the home to the corporate headquarters. Without the use of any formal advertising, in less than 3 years multiple franchises were opened across the United States. As the demand for franchises grew, the CURE Water Damage began renovating an enormous building in downtown Seattle in order to create a new state-of-the-art training facility and customer support center. A truly unique, 1100-square foot residential flood house was built inside the training facility and is used for technical training and research and development. To assist with ongoing expansion efforts, a franchise development team with over a hundred years of combined experience in the industry was brought on board.

The CURE Water Damage Headquarters is also still home to the company owned CURE Water Damage of Seattle, one of the finest examples of our outstanding business model. By staying in touch with the day to day operations it enables us to remain at the forefront of cutting edge technology and other advances in the industry.
